Small businesses in the spotlight at IFB
A Small Business and Enterprise Conference is one of the key elements of this week’s programme of events at the International Festival for Business.
The conference will be hosted by The Plus Dane Group’s Making Business Work programme and takes place in the Titanic Hotel.
It will provide an opportunity for new and existing Making Business Work clients to network, attend workshops and hear from guest speakers, specialising in making small businesses sustainable.
The event will have three key themes:
• Supporting the development and sustainability of small businesses
• Sharing best practice and innovation across sectors
• Building networks and relationships
Independent Liverpool will be opening the conference with a Q&A about their journey from a blog prompting independent businesses to a company with thousands of followers on social media and features in national newspapers.
Eve Lynch, Business Advisor for Plus Dane, said:“If you are a social enterprise or small to medium sized business or self-employed, this conference will provide you with space to learn and develop.”
During the event there will be a market place, workshops, guest speakers and lunch will be provided.
Workshops will offer businesses advice and support around social media, finance and personal development.
