Manchester Tech Startup invited to Buckingham Palace for an audience with the Queen.
CANDDi (Campaign and Data Intelligence) CEO Tim Langley was invited to the Tech At The Palace event at Buckingham Palace last Monday 9 June.
350 of the top startup companies in Britain were invited along to this event hosted by her Royal Highness and the Duke of Edinburgh.
Tech at Palace was an event organised by the Duke of York to celebrate the top technology startups in the country and showcase the best that the British has to offer.
Tim Langley, “The networking was fantastic, alongside other start-ups were notable luminaries from British Technology industry (I found myself discussing the problems of early stage funding with “a chap from QinetiQ” - I assumed he was a fellow technologist - turns out that Leo Quinn is the CEO and far more experienced at Palace receptions than I was)”
At 17:30, guests entered through the palace gates and through security. 60 minutes later, guests from Britain’s top technology startups were asked to line up. They were then to meet the Her Royal Highness and the Duke of Edinburgh.
Guests were allowed to keep their phones so they could use social media whilst at the palace.
Tim Langley, “I can’t tell you how proud I am to be part of the UK Technology scene, and proud how far CANDDi has come in the last 4 years.”
