Piercefield Oliver welcomes two new team members

Leading financial planning company Piercefield Oliver has added two new faces to its rapidly expanding team.

Rachel Birch has been in the financial services sector for more than 30 years and is a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

She has been a member of the Institute of Financial Planning since 2001 and joins Piercefield Oliver – which has offices in Chesterfield and Bristol - to look after their regulatory compliance, operational and financial planning requirements, with a focus on retaining the highest standards set out by the firm.

Rachel has two sons and when she is not working she enjoys an active family and social life as well as reading and keeping fit.

Richard Lee joins the Piercefield Oliver team as Client Support Assistant.

He graduated from Cardiff University in Economics and Finance and worked as a futures trader within the finance sector for three years,

Richard has recently become a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, where he is studying towards the Diploma in Financial Planning.

Outside of the office Richard enjoys playing golf and catching up with friends and family.

“These are two important new appointments for the company,” said director Stephen Willis.

“It is important to the way we work at Piercefield Oliver that we have a team who understand that we view money as a means, not an end in itself and that we help people see their money as a portal to a life which is planned for and which continues to evolve over time.

“We work with individuals and families and are there for them at times of change - retirement, inheritance, bereavement, separation or divorce - because times of change are when individuals and their families need to be able to take the long view about the direction their lives will take.”
