DIY store opening in Benton to create 150 jobs
Plymouth-based DIY retailer The Range have announced the opening of a new store in Benton this August.
The store, which will stock more than 65,000 products across 16 departments including DIY, homewares, furniture and arts & crafts, is set to open at Whitley Road Retail and Leisure Park in Benton.
The new store is expected to create around 150 part-time and full-time jobs from store and department managers to warehouse and admin staff as well as opportunities to develop skills and grow with the company.
Chris Dawson, owner of The Range, said: “I would like to thank the council for welcoming us and being so supportive. We feel that The Range is a unique shopping experience that has something for everyone and we are confident that the people of Benton will enjoy what The Range has to offer.
“Benton is a location with so much potential, we are continuing to grow fast and expand and I am confident that The Range Benton will help us in doing this.”
The Range will be releasing job details via the Job Centre website.
