Chester-le-Street construction firm announces Yorkshire expansion
Northern Construction Solutions, based at Chester-le-Street, County Durham, has opened a new regional office in Leeds
The company, which was established in 2002 and employs over 60 staff and operatives, has a turnover of £10m.
It specialises in sectors such as heritage, care, education, community and amenity, sports and leisure, manufacturing facilities, process infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
NCS has carried out several significant projects recently including Recent projects Old Newcastle heritage project, manufacturing facilities for SMD in Wallsend, Newbiggin Heritage Centre, and Prudhoe Library.
The firm has also taken on business development director, Jonathan Selwood-Hogg, to help directors Sean Anderson and David Gardner drive forward the company.
Sean said: “It’s an exciting time for us at NCS. We’re continuing to win work across the country and we’re taking on much larger contracts.
“We’ve built a great reputation in the North East for our commitment to getting the job done right and for the innovative way we deal with more complex projects.
“We wanted to build on those solid foundations and we feel the new website and rebrand is a much cleaner, simpler way of reflecting our ambitions to grow the business nationally.
“We know Jonathan very well having worked with him in the past at a national contractor and we know he shares our vision for the company and will be a huge asset over the next few years.”
