Optionis strengthens senior team to push for growth
The Optionis group has made two key promotions as it looks to further enhance its offering to contractors, freelancers, recruitment firms and small businesses.
Employment law specialist Juliet Byrne, formerly head of legal at Warrington-headquartered Optionis, is now legal and technical director and will assume overall responsibility for legislative compliance across the group. Â
Meanwhile, operations delivery manager Shelley Ankers-Wainwright has been made head of sales operations.
The newly-created role will see Shelley focus on implementing smoother processes within the business development function of Optionis brands Parasol and ClearSky Contractor Accounting.Â
The dual promotion comes as Optionis looks to cement and build on its position as the UKâs largest provider of support and employment services for professional freelancers and contractors.
Through its ClearSky Business brand, which offers fixed-fee advice on human resources (HR), employment law, tax, payroll and accountancy, Optionis is also looking to achieve rapid growth amongst SMEs.Â
Optionis group managing director Derek Kelly said: âThis is a crucial time in the evolution of Optionis, so we need talented people like Juliet and Shelley at the forefront.    Â
âBoth have shown tremendous dedication, loyalty and skill during their time with us, and I would like to congratulate them on their promotions.“Â Â
Optionis employs 250 staff at sites in Warrington, Middleton in Greater Manchester, Dorset and London.
