Multi-million St James' redevelopment to breathe life into Sheffield's Cathedral Quarter

A million pound refurbishment project is to breathe new life into office stock in the heart of Sheffield’s Cathedral Quarter.

Sheffield property agent Knight Frank has been appointed to let available office space alongside the refurbishment of the 11-storey St James House which will upgrade both office and communal areas of the building.

The Vicar Lane building, is already home to high profile businesses including management and construction consultants Turner & Townsend, educational recruitment company Teaching Personnel, IBM and Breast Cancer Care, and is situated alongside popular developments for businesses including Fountain Precinct and The Balance.

Rebecca Schofield, partner at the Sheffield office of Knight Frank, said: “St James House is located in the sought after professional Cathedral Quarter in Sheffield, between the Fargate shopping area and the professional office areas of Campo Lane and Paradise Square. The building has outstanding views across the city.

“We are able to offer a range of high quality suites to the market from 622 to 6,234 sq ft. The size of these suites fill a gap in the market for smaller office suites ideal for recruitment, IT and media companies.

“The redevelopment will be completed to a high specification and bring these central offices right up to modern day standards and demands including all the latest IT and telecom requirements.”
