Yorkshire lawyer named as finalist in Insolvency Awards

A Yorkshire lawyer who works with businesses to find solutions to the challenges they are facing has been named as a finalist in a prestigious insolvency award.

Rashmi Dubé, the founder of Leeds-based Legatus Law, is a finalist in the Turnaround Practitioner of the Year Category at the Insolvency and Rescue Awards.

Now in its seventh year, the awards attract entries from across the insolvency and corporate recovery sector. This year’s winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 1 October.

In deciding on the finalists for the Turnaround Practitioner of the Year Category, judges were looking for evidence of dedication to rehabilitating underperforming organisations, business building and commitment to clients, innovation and creativity in the field of corporate rescue and client satisfaction.

Commenting on the announcement, Rashmi said:

“I am delighted to have been named as a finalist in these key annual awards for the insolvency and rescue sectors and look forward to joining key members of the industry at the awards ceremony in London in October.

“I have found in my work across Yorkshire, London and the UK as a whole that there is a real need for specialist legal support tailored to the needs of businesses who need turnaround solutions. I am pleased my efforts to restructure and resolve these challenges have been recognised by the judges.”
