Brims Construction secure £1.5 million Northumberland holiday home work

North East-based Brims Construction has beaten several competitors to secure work on the building of a new luxury holiday home development in Northumberland.

The Nothumbrian Hills project, previously reported on Bdaily, is located on Burgham Park Golf Club and will be a 4-star resort consisting of 50 three bedroom stone cottages, pavilion and leisure facilities.

Managing director at Northumbrian Hills, William Kiely, said: “We decided to tender out the construction contract to ensure we got the best team for the job. This will be a four-star resort so we need the build to go as seamlessly as possible.

“Brims stood out from the rest for its efficiency and professionalism. Plots have already been snapped up so building work will commence as early as next month.”

The development offers an opportunity for those looking to buy a holiday home in the rural countryside, each cottage will provide 107 sq. m. with prices starting from £235k.

Ian Clift, managing director at Brims said: “We are thrilled to be chosen for this project. We pride ourselves on our top quality service and are excited to get the cottages underway.

“This is only the first stage of development, the next will see us build a two-storey pavilion which will house bars, restaurants, a fitness suite, spa, swimming pool and much more.

“The final stage will be the creation of a world-class golf academy with teaching bays and a driving range along with other sports facilities.”
