Litigation Partner joins Chester law firm
Leading regional law firm Aaron and Partners LLP, which has offices in Chester, Shrewsbury and Manchester, has boosted its litigation offering with the appointment of a new Contentious Partner, David Potts.
David, who joins the company from Manchester law firm Ralli LLP, has been specialising in partnership, director, shareholder and engineering disputes, product liability and insolvency for almost 30 years.
During that time, David has dealt with a number of high profile cases within the North West and the West Midlands, particularly around Stoke-on-Trent, including Michelin Tyre PLC and Rieter PLC.
Born in Nairobi, David is a life-long rugby fanatic who played at amateur level for Sale between 1984-87 and Stoke Rugby Club before hanging up his boots 10 years ago.
David said: “I’m delighted to be joining Aaron and Partners, a firm which has a strong reputation for commercial work, a good profile and, most importantly, excellent lawyers.
“It’s particularly exciting to be joining at a time when the firm is expanding its offering in terms of both geographical reach and specialisms. With my client base and contacts spanning the North West and Midlands, I’m looking forward to being an important part of the firm’s growth.”
David’s appointment forms part of an ongoing expansion programme which sees Aaron & Partners recruiting specialist lawyers to service its Chester, Manchester and Shrewsbury offices, and comes on the back of a record fee income of £7.26 million.
Andy Duxbury, Chief Executive at Aaron and Partners, said: “We’re delighted to welcome David to the firm. By expanding both our geographical reach and our specialist offerings, we’re able to offer our clients a truly rounded service.
“David’s contacts in the Stoke region and the huge amount of experience he has in his field, along with a proven commitment to enabling growth within his firm, make him a fantastic addition to the team.”
