Operator sought for Bramall Hall café and tea room development
A team from commercial property specialists CBRE are on the hunt for an operator to run a café business within the grounds of historic Bramall Hall and Park, near Stockport.
CBRE’s Manchester Specialist Markets team has been appointed by Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council to source an operator for the renovated café/tea room unit.
The Grade I Listed manor house and gardens are currently undergoing Heritage Lottery funded renovation / improvement works which are due for completion in Summer 2015.
The café, which is due to open in September 2015, will provide 45 indoor and a minimum of 60 external covers and will be located within the former stable block at the gated entrance to the newly landscaped walled gardens. The design combines original features with contemporary design reflective of the setting.
Lorna Pass of CBRE’s Specialist Markets team said: “We are very excited about bringing this unique opportunity to the market and will be seeking expressions of interest by 29th August 2014.
“The café at Bramall Hall and Park, which would be open year-round, offers a fantastic and exclusive opportunity within this historic landmark.
“The unit will be provided as a shell, ready to be transformed to a café/tea room which is sympathetic to its surroundings and able to draw on local and tourist trade.”
