Successful launch for Lawnrite as Discovery Days prove popular

The official launch of lawn care licensing business Lawnrite has been deemed a success after it held its first Discovery Day for potential investors in Chester.

Future licensees who attended the Discovery Day, held at the Regus Building on Chester Business Park, were given an insight into the industry, and shown how becoming a licensee would help them successfully start, run and grow their own lawn care business. The advantages of licensing over franchising and the full benefits of the company training package were also discussed.

Lawnrite was created by Jeff Williams to tap into the huge percentage of gardens not currently being serviced by a lawn care professional in the UK, which is currently at around 90%. Jeff, from North Wales, is well-known in the industry as he previously helmed a national lawn care business that, in its heyday, had just under half a million customers on its books.

“It was great to see so much interest at the Discovery Day,” said Jeff. “Everyone loved the concept and the business model of Lawnrite, and got it straightaway. We had people in attendance from all over the country, and there’s a definite interest from some of them in becoming a licensee. And we have lots more confirmed for the next Discovery Day on the 30th July.

“The popularity of the Discovery Days means the business has now officially launched and I’m really excited about what the future may hold for Lawnrite.”

As well as the full training received by licensees, they are also given sales and marketing help with their businesses, access to Jeff’s buying power for products and equipment he has gained in the industry, and their investment grants them use of Lawnrite’s bespoke software package designed exclusively for running a lawn care business.

“Becoming a Lawnrite licensee is perfect for anyone who is looking for a new challenge or is faced with redundancy, and offers a new business opportunity using a proven model,” continued Jeff.
