North East water treatment firm invest in plant to grow turnover 20%
County Durham-based Conder Aqua Solutions has invested in exclusive manufacturing technology in a bid to grow its turnover by 20%.
The firm’s Peterlee plant has been equipped with rotomoulding machinery - one of the first wastewater companies to manufacture its tanks this way.
Conder has upskilled two teams within its workforce to use the machinery. The changes have come about through a partnership with Canadian firm Premier Tech.
Stuart Wray, managing director at Conder said “The introduction of this new, more automated technology will open up a whole new range of market opportunities for us.
“The market is demanding more advanced technology that has an improved performance with the simplicity of use and for companies like ours that are prepared to respond to this demand, it’s great.
“By leading this development we are creating new technologies and new methods of manufacturing never before used and which are being delivered in the north east. For the region this means new skills, new opportunities and an increase in production from our Peterlee plant.”
