Leeds IT consultancy’s growth sees international sales increase to a third of total
Leeds-based IT consultancy BJSS has been recognised for international growth as it has grown its global sales from around 8% to 36% of the total.
The consultancy has also been shortlisted in the Inflexion International Growth Business of the Year category of the 2014 National Business Awards.
This follows closely on an announcement by the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 that BJSS is the fourth fastest-growing private company for international sales UK-wide, and fastest in Yorkshire.
Established in 1993 in Leeds, BJSS is an award-winning IT consultancy with a growing international presence. The company is recognised for its experience in the financial services, commodity trading, media & telecoms, retail, and government sectors.
Hamdi Conger, Chairman, Allied Glass Containers, and judge for the category said: “BJSS offers its customer’s tailor-made project planning services.
“A recent focus on international expansion has led to strong growth globally, with international sales growing from 8% to 36% of total revenue.”
This year’s shortlisted businesses cover activities as diverse as retail, technology, men’s grooming products, telecoms, construction, advertising, entertainment, and publishing.
Alex Evans, programme director of the National Business Awards said: “The diversity and quality of this year’s finalists have firmly established the National Business Awards as the talent scout for UK plc, with market leading household names recognised alongside the best emerging business brands.
“With a variety of industries represented, these recovery-leading businesses have demonstrated the return on investment in people, innovation, customer service and leadership.”
The National Business Awards supports The Prince’s Trust, a charity that offers practical and financial support to young people who need it.
Glynn Robinson, BJSS managing director said: “We’re thrilled to have been named as a finalist in this prestigious award which recognises our growth on the international stage.
“Our success is a result of the BJSS culture of high-quality delivery and technical excellence. Being named as a finalist in the 2014 National Business Awards validates our efforts in remaining steadfastly focused on client relationships, quality and delivery.”
