The Securus Group acquires Swansea firm thanks to Natwest funding package
Security Centres is the latest company to join The Securus Group after agreeing a multi-million pound funding package with NatWest.
The Securus Group, which has operations in Newcastle and Nottingham, also includes Newcastle’s Goldshield Electronic Security, C.E.L Electrical Logistics, Diverse Communication Services, Suffolk Electrical Services, AIS Total Security, Rodgers and TFS.
The businesses, which are located throughout the UK, design, install and maintain electronic security systems including warden control systems, access control systems, fire detection, CCTV and intruder alarms, and emergency lighting.
There is currently more than 200 people are employed by the group.
Group Managing Director Stuart Glover created the business in 2008 following a Buy Out backed by NatWest, The Securus Group has continued to steadily expand both organically and acquisitively.
Stuart said: “It is an exciting time for The Securus Group as we look to continue to expand our portfolio and develop new business opportunities. Having a committed acquisition facility available from NatWest enables us to deploy capital quickly should we need to and shows the bank has confidence in us and what we are doing.”
Plans are in the pipeline for further acquisitions in the months ahead.
The new funding package was delivered by Liam Glennon from NatWest’s Structured Finance team in Newcastle. Liam was supported by Richard Lamb in Structured Finance Portfolio and David Watson in Client Coverage.
