EENW Helps Manchester firm hit the mark
A company in North Manchester has established itself as a global provider of high quality mobile device storage and management devices with CE marking support from Enterprise Europe North West (EENW).
Parotec-IT’s product range is so innovative that the company has even sold its iNsync C12 iPad storage, charging and data synchronisation units to Apple in the USA, along with the training departments of many major brands, including Volvo, Peugeot and Jaguar.
The company’s range of protective cases, docks, storage, charging and synchronisation products are also sold extensively in the education, museums and galleries, and retail sectors as well as to special needs users around the world.
Robert Atkins from Parotec-IT said: “We have developed a highly functional and convenient product range that answers the needs of businesses and public sector organisations that are increasingly dependent on iOS and android mobile devices.
“To ensure we stay ahead in this growing marketplace, we must ensure that quality remains a high priority and CE marking our products correctly in line with British and European standards is an important element of that commitment.”
He was signposted to EENW by the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and was visited at the company’s headquarters in Radcliffe by adviser, Mike Snape. After familiarising himself with the company’s products, Mike was able to advise Parotec-IT on its CE marking obligations and how to go about putting all the required documentation in place.
Mike was then available to answer any additional questions for the Parotec-IT team over the telephone throughout the CE marking process.
Mike Snape said: “Many companies know that they need to CE mark their products but don’t fully understand what their compliance obligations are or how to fulfil them.
“We can help with practical advice tailored to specific sectors, supporting companies as they learn about the process to ensure that their customers can always be confident of fully-compliant, high quality products.”
