Tait Walker Brings Clients Into The Cloud With Xero

LEADING North East accountancy practice Tait Walker has teamed up with software specialists Xero to help small businesses keep finances secure, streamlined and efficiently managed.

The implementation of Xero’s expert accounting cloud platform has enabled Tait Walker’s team to manage data entry and compliance, sort through transactions and efficiently manage reports in real-time, adding value to existing client relations.

Mark Brunton, partner at Tait Walker, said: “We are delighted to have partnered up with Xero to provide the platform as a core service offering to our clients. We have been waiting for the new generation of online bookkeeping software to make its mark before offering it to customers, and having reviewed all of them we believe that Xero fits the bill perfectly.

“As a measure of our commitment to cloud based accounting solutions, we have recently appointed Chris Smith to strengthen our team. Chris joins us with a wealth of Xero experience and will complement our existing services.”

Services offered through the cloud platform include daily bank feeds that provide the small business owner with constant contact to their financials and accountant by web or iPhone. Accounting staff are able to log in at the same time to discuss any problems the customer may be having.

Small businesses in the North East are increasingly embracing online accountancy since Tait Walker introduced the concept last year.

Mark added: “We are now able to work more closely with our small business clients giving them better control of their day to day finances, accessibility, affordability and a simple process for ‘doing the books’.”
