Calvert Trust Fundraising in full swing with TLW Solicitors Golf team

The team at TLW Solicitors swung into action along with other local businesses to club together and raise funds for Calvert Trust Kielder. The annual golf tournament helped to raise over £6000 on the day which as part of a fundraising collective has raised more than £90,000.

TLW Solicitors has long supported Calvert Trust Kielder, which has recently celebrated 30 years in enabling people with disabilities, together with their family and friends, achieve their potential through the challenge of outdoor adventure.

David Kirby, Road Traffic Accident Team Leader at TLW Solicitors said, ‘I’m an avid golfer and always up for a challenge so it was great to meet some of the other sponsors who all participated in a bit of friendly competition to take the Calvert Cup’.

The Golf tournament enjoyed a day of glorious sunshine, and the players were topped up with constant refreshments before retiring to the after events BBQ party that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

Corporate and Events Fundraiser at Calvert Trust Kielder said, ‘I think all of the teams excelled themselves this year and TLW Solicitors did a grand job. The support we receive from TLW Solicitors is vital to what we do; our sponsors really do make a difference’.
