Housebuilder gives a welcome to Middlesbrough Golf Club
David Wilson Homes has sponsored a new welcome and information board at Middlesbrough Golf Club.
The course, in Brass Castle Lane, is close to the housebuilder’s Grey Towers Village development at Nunthorpe.
Sales Director Fenton Hewitt said: “Wherever we build, we are always keen to establish relationships with community groups, clubs and schools.
“Grey Towers Village is our first development in Middlesbrough and we’re delighted to link up with the golf club, which has been part of the local community here for 75 years.
“We’re hoping that the new signboard, as well as welcoming visitors and informing players about course conditions, will remind them that they could be living in a brand new home next door to one of the region’s premier clubs.”
Golf club chairman Mark Braithwaite said that the club was delighted to welcome David Wilson Homes as sponsor of its course information board and its newsletter. With the company’s development situated very close to the course, he was confident that the club’s facilities would be attractive to prospective home buyers, either as golfers or as social members.
More than 20 homes have already been sold at Grey Towers Village and the first residents have already moved in. When complete, the development will comprise 295 family homes set around a village green. For more information visit www.dwh.co.uk or call 08448 11 66 22.
