Liverpool’s Hard Days Night Hotel has been awarded Best Social Media Presence of the Year at The City of Liverpool Business Awards 2014.
More than 250 people attended the annual awards at Sefton Park Palm House, which were held by Downtown Liverpool in Business in association with Liverpool Vision.
General Manager of Hard Days Night Hotel Mike Dewey said: “This award means a lot to us as our social media platforms have helped us to connect with our guests and loyal followers on many levels over the years.
“It’s fantastic to have devised our own community on Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest and we hope to continue to grow it over the coming months.”
The City of Liverpool Business Awards are in their tenth year and celebrate the most innovative, entrepreneurial and successful businesses from across the city.
Frank McKenna, DLIB Chief Executive, said: “The City of Liverpool Business Awards have become a key part of the calendar in the city and it’s great to see so many different types of companies involved.
“It’s fantastic to be celebrating our 10th anniversary year with our best-ever awards and seeing companies from professional services to housing and digital sectors.
“The standard of entries is always very high and this year was no exception, so it was really difficult to choose the winners. The contribution all of our shortlisted firms make to our city and Merseyside as a whole is exemplary and it’s events like these which really help us to appreciate the thriving business community which I’m exceptionally proud to be involved with.”
