Towergate Insurance continues Manchester recruitment drive
Following the announcement of a new office opening in Manchester, Towergate Insurance has received a strong response, with over 125 jobs offered in eight weeks and over 80 recruits already in training.
The first set of recruits, made up of Team Leaders and Customer Service Advisors, is currently undergoing a six week intensive training programme. This ensures that everyone has a good understanding of the business and can work together as a team to meet customer needs.
Towergate, one of the UK’s largest independently-owned insurance brokers, continues its search for new team members, following the creation of 400 new jobs in a market-leading customer contact centre in Manchester.
The new centre, based in Norman Foster designed offices in Hardman Square, Spinningfields, has been fitted out as a very modern and state of the art environment to work in.
The new Manchester contact centre will serve a significant number of Towergate’s small commercial and personal lines customers and forms part of the Group’s commitment to drive improved service for customers.
Towergate is especially looking for insurance professionals to join the team, while still offering a wide range of candidates the chance to build a long term career within a growing business.
Neil Galjaard, CEO of the new Manchester business, commented: “We are delighted with the interest we have received so far, but we still have vacancies so are really keen to hear from individuals with an insurance background.
“However, they must also have an absolute passion for delivering the highest standard of customer service. We’re hiring team leaders and advisors with drive to help us build something special here in Manchester.
“First and foremost we’re looking for the desire to cement solid relationships with clients, so anyone interested should look at our website or for our ads in the local press.”
