CRG on recruitment drive in Yorkshire and the North after multi-million pound contracts

Recruitment and health service provider, CRG, has announced plans to create a brand new team of top recruitment consultants.

This follows on from three contract wins with Crown Commercial Service (formerly GPS), on behalf of the NHS in England and Wales.

The newly-appointed team, consisting of approximately 10 of the industry’s leading specialists, will be responsible for spearheading the multi-million pound contracts.

The Crown Commercial Service framework agreements have an annual value of purchases across the three contracts of up to £800 million.

The consultants will be charged with placing agency nurses, social care workers, medical locums, GP locums, allied health professionals and health science staff within NHS and Government bodies that wish to access the frameworks.

CRG is one of the fastest-growing national providers of healthcare services and medical staffing solutions, and turnover is expected to exceed £24 million in 2013/14.

In response to these sizeable contract wins, CRG – one of only a handful of suppliers to be awarded a place on all three contracts – will be employing a high volume of new specialist consultants in order to meet increased demand.

Consultants will manage the procurement of non-permanent professionals in the North West, North East, East Midlands and London.

Paul Booth, managing director of CRG, said: “These are highly significant contracts for CRG and we are delighted to be in a position to take on a number of recruitment consultants to help place candidates in non permanent roles.

“These wins further cement CRG’s credentials as a desirable workplace for ambitious recruitment consultants.”

The lucrative contracts have been awarded across four of CRG’s specialist sub-brands – CRG Healthcare, CRG Doctors, CRG Allied Health and CRG Health Sciences.

It is the preferred supplier to major public sector organisations, including the NHS and MoD, as well as over 21 local authorities.
