Royal Quays’ Judith Ramshaw, welcomes Peppa Pig back to the centre
We are very much looking forward to the bank holiday and have plans in place to provide a great day out for all the family.
On Monday 25 August, children’s favourites, Peppa Pig and George are back due to popular demand! They are firm friends of the centre and will be making guest appearances throughout the day.
In the build up to Peppa’s arrival, we are looking forward to offering one lucky winner the chance to receive a ‘Peppa package,’ through a social media competition on Facebook. The winner will receive the chance to greet Peppa and her little brother, George, personally on the day, as well as being presented with a package full of treats from Peppa and George!
We will also be encouraging people to send us their favourite Peppa Pig pictures of the day to the #peppaquays via our Twitter feed. We want to encourage our customers to get fully involved in our activities as we enjoy our online interaction with them.
Bank holidays are great for us as we can utilise our space and facilities (both online and offline) to provide family fun days which our customers really enjoy.
This summer we have been bombarded by a range of sporting events taking place across the globe. Closer to home - Yorkshire played host to a leg of the Tour de France route, and this has certainly ‘put the wheels in motion’ for cycling enthusiasts as we have seen an influx of customers heading to Royal Quays Cycle Centre.
In my last blog I mentioned that Land Rover Bikes had rebranded to Royal Quays Cycle Centre which now boasts a wider range of cycling attire, bikes and on the spot mechanical advice, which is proving to be popular amongst customers as we have received some great feedback. The warm summer and Tour de France has been a contributing factor for people to get out on their bikes!
I am pleased to report that we have enjoyed a strong summer at the centre with footfall and spending continuing to rise and the signs look great as we begin to turn our attention to the autumn/winter period. In the months ahead, keep your eyes peeled as we will soon be announcing new additions to the centre – variety is the spice of life as they say!
