Frozen food firm Hartleys appoints Ewe agency after £2.5 million investment

Hartleys, a national supplier of frozen vegetables, has appointed Ewe agency to support the company’s expansion plans after they invested £2.5 million in a new Yorkshire production facility.

The new facility supports its UK and European expansion plans, providing frozen vegetables to global brands across the food manufacturing industry such as Heinz, New Covent Garden and Baxters.

Commenting on the campaign Tom Verity, managing director of Hartleys said: “Ewe bring some great experience in this sector and share our rigorous and strategic approach to business.

“This campaign will drive our business forward and provide a great marketing platform to support our investment and generate growth.”

Ewe agency is a Leeds based integrated marketing business that serves a diverse client base that includes Travis Perkins, Aviva and Interflora.

Steve Moncrieff, client strategy director of Ewe said: “Ewe puts customer insight and segmentation at the heart of integrated multi-channel campaigns that are focused on generating sales.

“This approach is a great fit for Hartleys and our job is to ensure they build a brand and strategy that supports their continued expansion.”

Ewe, recently rebranded from the PCD agency, and now offers a fully integrated approach to strategic marketing.
