Social media and online networks are the communications phenomenon of the last two decades. Most of us are signed up to at least one, but are we using them to best advantage? How many of us actually know how to maximize the opportunities and potential they offer?

LinkedIn is the world’s biggest professional network with 250 million members in over 200 countries and territories around the globe.

This event, on September 23 2014 in Darlington, is to help members understand better how connecting via LinkedIn may help them and their colleagues to be more productive and successful.

Our expert host is Mark Williams, commonly known as ‘Mr LinkedIn’ and widely regarded as one of the world’s top LinkedIn experts.

Following a career spanning 20 years in the recruitment industry, Mark set up ETN LinkedIn training in 2008.

Initially he focused on training recruiters but quickly realised LinkedIn was much more than just a recruitment tool. He started offering workshops to all industries and individuals who can benefit from LinkedIn’s opportunities as a networking and business development tool and since then has trained thousands of users from a diverse range of sectors and roles.

He is also an accomplished keynote speaker, blogger and podcaster with his popular show LinkedInformed.

Mark’s passion and enthusiasm for his niche subject shines through.
