Fashion entrepreneur opens high-end men's boutique in Alnwick
Alnwick boutique Hotspur 1364 is a one-stop shop for men’s fashion, lead by entrepreneur Lisa Aynsley.
Lisa, who currently works as an events manager for Northeast Press, has teamed up with Jacqui Chapman, of event management company JC Events in this fashion venture.
Hotspur 1364 will be taking over the former Woody’s store on Narrowgate, with two floors of clothing and grooming for men including an in-house barber.
Lisa told the Northumberland Gazette said: “ I saw a gap in the market and went for it. Men traditionally enjoy shopping less than women and the aim is to turn that around,
“Jacqui and our team have worked hard to create an environment that will make the guys feel at home, and the shop fit is amazing – there is seriously nothing else like it for miles around.
“We are looking at creating a community for guys to be a part of with VIP Clubs, appointment-only personal shopping experiences, a Fantasy Football League, whisky taster sessions, cigar clubs and much, much more.
“The response to the boutique has already been phenomenal and the doors aren’t even open yet. The Facebook page has had over 400 likes in under two days of going live.
“There is a really positive feel about Alnwick at the minute, visitor numbers are higher than ever and empty properties are starting to fill, having stood vacant for a long time.”
