Leeds IT provider expands HQ after recruiting 11 new staff
Leeds-based IT solutions provider, Blue Logic, has expanded its headquarters to accommodate its rapidly growing team.
The company has appointed 11 new staff in the last 6 months, taking its employee count to 66.
Blue Logic has invested in a 1,200 sq ft extension at its head office in Thorner, which will create enough space for an additional 20 staff.
The new appointments follow a raft of new client wins – Blue Logic has added an impressive 57 new customers to its roster since the start of the year.
Key client wins this year include Leeds-based law firm Clarion and Greenwoods Menswear, which join its current list of customers, such as Morrisons and the West Yorkshire Probation Trust.
The business is also on target to hit its turnover and profit forecasts ahead of the year end, following a successful 2013 which saw it increase turnover by £1 million and profit by 35%, and will continue to grow its team to ensure clients receive the best levels of IT support available.
Speaking about the rapid growth, Dave Helm, director at Blue Logic, said: “2014 has been a hugely successful year for us so far, and our order book and pipeline are also very strong.
“The office extension will allow us to comfortably house our existing employees, whilst also giving us space to take on further staff over the coming months.
“We are already planning on appointing another four employees in September, so we needed a space that will allow us to expand.”
Blue Logic is an IT solutions provider that offers a complete suite of IT support services to companies. Services and products it offers include cloud computing, virtualisation and Sage Accounting Solutions.
The company takes care of a client’s whole IT system, becoming their ‘virtual IT team’ and enabling the businesses it works for to focus on running their businesses.
The business has grown its service offering over the past eight months and in addition to full IT support services, it now also boasts a specialist digital division that provides digital marketing services, including creative design, web development and SEO.
Blue Logic was also awarded Sage 200 Partner Status in late 2013, which has enabled it to provide larger companies with IT-based accounting solutions.
