Training 2000 gears up for global growth
England’s largest Group Training Association, Training 2000, has made two senior appointments to support its international expansion plans.
Gillian McCammon, 35, from Blackburn and Bushra Khan, 33, from Bolton have been recruited by the Blackburn-based firm as strategic marketing manager and business growth manager respectively.
Ms McCammon spent four years at independent insurance intermediary, Chase Templeton, playing a key role in the delivery of its digital strategy and rebrand. She has also occupied senior roles at B2B communications provider, Daisy PLC in Nelson, with responsibility for marketing the indirect partner channel.
As strategic marketing manager, she will develop, implement and oversee branding, communications and digital marketing functions at Training 2000, while helping to drive forward and expand commercially-funded training.
Former global bids and tenders manager of Air Energi, Ms Khan was responsible for international growth in the oil and gas sector. During her 4 year tenure she successfully helped the group expand into more than 35 locations.
As business growth manager, she will devise and implement Training 2000’s next phase of international growth plans, with a particular focus on enterprise and commercial sectors.
The pair Gillian will report directly to Sian Wilson, head of business development and marketing at Training 2000.
Sian Wilson said: “Both Gillian and Bushra bring with them a wealth of expertise and we’re pleased to welcome them on board.
“They join the business at an important time and will be invaluable in driving forward our aggressive international expansion plans.”
