Harlands Accountants launch business builder workshop programme

Harlands Accountants hosted the 1st of this years planned business builder workshops in July as they continue to bring the world’s leading business speakers to the North East. The County Durham based accountants, invited former actor, writer, and professional poker player, Caspar Berry to speak to a packed room full of business minded guests at Ramside Hall.

Managing Director of Harlands, Glyn Davison was delighted with the feedback and content of this first in a stream of business builder events;

“We’ve had a great reaction to the speaker and content and cant wait till our next event!

Caspar used a very interesting metaphor of poker to explain how risk can be calculated and that we shouldn’t be afraid to lose a hand (fail) in the short term, as long as we can see that the decisions/risks will pay off in the long term. The event was designed to help business owners/managers grow their skills with an ultimate aim to build better businesses and I think we achieved that“

The next of Harlands business builder workshops will be on 11th December with a keynote from Durham based Geoff Ramm. Geoff is the creator of ‘Celebrity Service’ and ‘Observational Marketing’ which he shared with the audience at Harlands brand launch in December 2013. Glyn continued;
