Harewood Associates donate £1,000 to children’s hospital
A property investment company from Greater Manchester has donated £1,000 to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Bolton-based Harewood Associates, which already donates £50 to the hospital for each client referral it receives, donated the money to the burns unit. The Children’s Hospital hosts the largest specialist burns unit in the country, catering for children and young people who have suffered a wide range of thermal injuries.
Peter Kiely, Director at Harewood, said: “We’ve been supporting Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital for some time now and are thrilled to have made this donation.
“The work they do for children and families is fantastic and supporting causes that make a real difference to our local community is hugely important to us.”
Harewood Associates’ Marketing Assistant Sarah Brown hand-delivered the donation and was given a tour of the hospital to see first hand the impact fundraising has on the hospital and its patients.
Hannah Selby, Corporate and Individual Fundraising Assistant at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, said: “We are extremely grateful to Harewood Associates for this generous donation. We rely on contributions to help us continue providing care and support to families across the North West, and every penny counts.”
In addition to this donation, Sarah Brown, Nicola Smith and Laura Jones from Harewood will each be taking part in a skydive on 2 September to raise more money for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
