Lancashire business centre recruits former apprentice
Runshaw Business Centre has recruited former apprentice, Amy Strutt, from Walton-le-Dale, into its recruitment team.
Employed as a sales executive, the 22-year-old has completed a Level 3 Apprenticeship and recently graduated from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) with a foundation degree in Business.
Amy will help expand the recruitment of apprentices in office-based occupations including Business Administration, Accounting, Payroll and Customer Service Apprenticeships.
She said: “Having been an apprentice myself, I understand the recruitment process and can relate with the candidates.
“I thrive on helping to get young people into employment and look forward to making a difference in the local community.”
Adrian Roscoe, business centre manager at Runshaw College, said: “Amy is extremely personable and approachable and has excellent sales, negotiation and listening skills, which makes her an ideal asset to the recruitment team.
