North East firm set to deliver digital competition at international packaging show

A new digital competition is being introduced at this year’s Packaging Innovations London show, a two day event starting on September 30th, that will enable visitors to locate out and scan packaging using their smart device with new innovative app technology.

The competition, ‘The PackQuest’, is being run in partnership between North East based pre-media, flexible packaging specialists, Reproflex3, and Packaging Innovations event organisers, easyFairs.

The competition will also use Reproflex3’s innovative packaging engagement app, Packlinc.

Packlinc is new technology embedding hidden code within the colour graphics of packaging that only the Packlinc app can detect and translate by scanning the packaging. Once scanned, a smart device instantly links a user to an on-line destination.

Packaging Innovations visitors are being invited to join in The PackQuest by downloading Packlinc to their smart device. Once at the show, visitors can pick up a map and follow the route to participating exhibitor stands hosting competition packaging for visitors to scan using Packlinc.

The PackQuest has been introduced as part of an on-going contemporary packaging theme at Packaging Innovations, a show that attracts visitors from all over the world, promising an insight into the next generation of packaging technology and innovation.
