Bradford site acquired by Gregory Projects for residential development
Leeds’ Gregory Projects (Residential) Ltd has acquired a 1.5 acre site in Eccleshill, Bradford for residential development.
Gregory plans to transform the site of the former Hutton Middle School into approximately 29 two, three and four bedroom family homes suitably priced for the local area.
Gregory hopes to start speculative development on the site early in the New Year, subject to planning approval.
Andrew Foggitt of Gregory Residential said, “Whilst we have remained active in the commercial property sector this is our first residential venture.
“We feel that the time is right to re-engage in the sector and have established a high level of interest in new homes at Eccleshill in advance of acquiring the site.
“We will be offering opportunities for buyers to reserve plots off-plan, allowing them to specify their own choice of kitchens, bathrooms, tiles and floor coverings etc.
Gregory Residential is the newly established residential development arm of Gregory Property Group which has achieved an outstanding track record in delivering sustainable property developments across the North of England for the last 28 years.
The company has developed or gained planning consent on more than 3 million sq. ft. of commercial development in the region either independently or in joint ventures with other recognised property developers.
Notable projects within the Gregory Property Group portfolio include the £40 million mixed use scheme at Broad Street Plaza in Halifax and the £40 million retail park at Foss Islands in York.
