Masters of growth lead The Great Kirklees Economic Debate 2014
Lockwood-based Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce’s Kirklees Business Week is fast approaching and bookings are streaming in.
On Monday 13th October from 08:30-10:30 masters of growth across Kirklees will present The Great Kirklees Economic Debate of 2014 to kick-off the week.
This lively debate will be a perfect start for the week featuring a highly regarded panel of business leaders – masters of growth - demonstrating how their businesses have grown. They will provide exclusive tips, particularly useful in everyday working life. The free to attend meeting will also allow for businesses to network after the debate.
This debate will be chaired by Sean Jarvis, Commercial Director of Huddersfield Town Football Club, Director of PPG Canalside, Trustee for the Town Foundation and Chairman of the ‘Place to Make it’ campaign.
Panel members include Graham Leslie; serial entrepreneur, philanthropist and mentor. He helped, along with the local authority, to finance and create the Galpharm Stadium. Greg Wright, Deputy Business Editor of the Yorkshire Post will also join the panel alongside Sue Cooke who joined the Leeds City Region Partnership in 2009 to set up the Employment & Skills Board.
Chrissie Slater Conferences Manager commented: “Kirklees Business Week features every aspect of growth and how this can be achieved through many different forms of learning throughout the week. Our opening event focuses on growing existing business in various sectors. The experience that the Panel members bring to this event is invaluable, first-rate and not to be missed. “
