Teesside PR agency wins £400k Law Society contract
North East PR and marketing agency, DTW, has won a £400k contract with the Law Society of England and Wales.
The national ‘Use a Professional’ campaign, which is launching across England and Wales this month, is to promote private practice or high street solicitors and encourage people to use their services.
A key part of the campaign is promoting the Law Society’s free online Find A Solicitor service, which matches people needing legal advice to qualified professional solicitors in their town or area.
DTW, based in the Tees Valley, pitched for the account, along with five other PR and Marketing agencies, at the Law Society’s headquarters in Chancery Lane, London.
During the pitch the team presented its creative campaign, convincing Law Society chiefs that DTW was the best agency to help them reach their goals of raising the profile of solicitors, as well as driving traffic to the Find A Solicitor service.
Following the successful pitch, DTW spent the summer finalising and testing the humorous and eye-catching creative concepts, travelling around the country shooting videos, devising real-time bidding advertising campaigns and planning creative PR and social media campaigns.
They highlight how private practice solicitors are helping thousands of people through tricky situations, such as buying houses, planning wills, getting divorced and securing compensation for personal injury.
DTW has a team of 15 creative PR and marketing professionals at its base in Guisborough in the Tees Valley.
The company works with clients right across the UK within a variety of sectors including: infrastructure and planning, health care, waste, energy and environment, education and training and membership organisations.
Managing director of DTW, Chris Taylor, said: “We wanted to bring something new to the Law Society’s campaign work and the ‘Use a Professional’ campaign will deliver that.
“We’ve developed a campaign that promotes the profession, but which is fun and friendly and which members of the public and The Law Society can get involved with.
“We’re delighted to be working with such an important national body.”
