Cheshire filter manufacturers chosen for international business mission

Warrington-based filter manufacturer, Croft Filters, has been selected as one of just 40 businesses from across Europe to join a new business mission to Southeast Asia to showcase a range of renewable energy technologies.

The announcement was made as part of Business Avenues’ Southeast Asia programme, which will see SMEs from 18 different European countries travel to ASEAN regions in a bid to secure clean technology solution partnerships with international organisations.

During the mission, Croft Filters will be presenting the innovative solutions it has to offer, which includes metal additive manufacturing, more commonly known as 3D printing.

While in Singapore, Croft Filters will also attend a two-day bespoke business exhibition, in conjunction with Singapore Energy Week (SIEW), and will travel to Malaysia for a series of specific site visits and meetings with key business leaders.

Neil Burns, director at Croft Filters, explained: “The green technology market is growing quickly throughout Europe, so it will be interesting to see how it is developing further afield.

“This mission will provide us with the ideal opportunity to talk to industry experts across Southeast Asia about our solutions and hopefully secure international partnerships with likeminded businesses.”

The Business Avenues to Southeast Asia programme will run from 27 – 31 October 2014, with attendees from a number of sectors, including co-generation, biomass, energy efficiency and solar power.
