Event showcasing business opportunities in the multi-billion pound space sector heads to the region

The 2014 inaugural Space Conference and Trade show, hosted by the North East Centre of Excellence will take place on Wednesday November 19.

The Speaker line up leads with the largest supplier to the space sector; Airbus Defence & Space further representatives from industry include; Steve Lee, Stevenson Astrosat, Craig Clark MBE of Clyde Space and Doug Liddle of Surrey Satellite.

Supported by leading industry bodies; Catapult Satellite Applications, UK Space and Science Finance Network. The Conference includes a niche session to focus on an SME Journey – an animated journey of growth of an SME using Satellite Technology. A raising finance session follows: Funding for Growth with representation from the specialists in the field of Seed Financing, Private Equity and Venture Capital.

The accompanying Trade Show is hosting companies who support the multi faceted sector, introducing companies to new networks and products while showcasing exciting opportunities to harness the potential of this prosperous market.
