Sheffield telematics firm expands following investment

Sheffield telematics firm The Floow have expanded their work force following business growth and a recent investment from the Direct Line Insurance Group plc.

The expansion sees six new permanent team members join the company’s headquarters in Sheffield in response to a number of new client wins and significant external investment.

The company, which produces telematics systems on behalf of a range of leading insurers and motor clubs, recently received a 15% equity increase investment from the Direct Line Insurance Group plc – set aside to accelerate the development of their world class suite of analytics.

Their newest recruits include android developer Andrew Peir’s, system administrator Bartosz Debski and developer analyst Dr Daniel Moyo, as well junior web developer Arran Scott.

The latest appointments follow the arrival of Data Analyst Luke Willis, Java Developer Carl Ibbotson and Junior Web Developer Joshua Obaro, who all joined the organisation during the summer.

Olivia Todd and Adam Sharp have also both seen their contacts extended after completing apprenticeships with the organisation.
