Independent fashion retailers given a boost at Wakefield shopping centre
The Ridings Shopping Centre in Wakefield has given independent fashion retailers a boost, welcoming four new additions.
Dickey Bow Boutique, an independent fashion outlet for men and women; Lime specialising in ladies fashion, accessories and footwear; Sugarsole, stockists of female fashion and shoes and Pretty Reckless, which sells the latest female style trends have all taken up residency in the centre.
Barbara Winston, centre manager of The Ridings Shopping Centre, comments: “We’re pleased to welcome Dickey Bow Boutique, Lime, Sugarsole and Pretty Reckless to The Ridings Shopping Centre.
“Over the years, the centre has gained a reputation for boasting a wide range of independent retailers, alongside well known high street names including Marks and Spencer, BHS, Boots and our latest tenancy agreements further enhance our unique offering.
“As well as providing flexible leasing options, we also work closely with retailers to provide support and guidance where possible, which has proved successful in attracting a string of unique independents.
“By putting in place these innovative strategies, it has ensured that the centre continues to offer this strong mixture of stores that shoppers have come to know and love.”
Situated over three levels, The Ridings Shopping Centre comprises 345,000 sq. ft. and houses 85 stores and restaurants.
