Financial entrepreneur launches new Leeds advisory startup firm
Leeds-based financial entrepreneur Johnny Abraham has launched a new financial firm J9 Advisory, offering assistance to Northern SMEs.
Johnny Abraham is a chartered accountant with over 13 years of experience in business recovery and restructuring, as well as asset-based lending.
J9 Advisory is working with SMEs to deliver financial restructuring projects, together with cashflow improvement and business asset disposal services across the North of England.
Mr Abraham said: “Every day, we still hear cries of ‘The banks are not lending’ over and over again; I do not believe that this is strictly the case.
“Yes, the finance industry and their processes have changed in recent years, but, even where there are signs of distress within a business, with the right support and expertise behind them, SME businesses can negotiate suitable facilities with the right funding partner, enabling them to move forward.
“With the effect of the introduction of Real Time Information by HMRC yet to be seen, and with the added pressure of auto-enrol deadlines fast approaching, there is no greater time for businesses to act to ensure that their strategy for ongoing funding and cashflow is under control.
“Strong relationships and a genuine desire to help businesses, enables J9 Advisory to work closely with Directors and their Stakeholders to bring positive changes that enable a business to strive.”
The firm is also an approved Growth Voucher Advisor. The Growth Vouchers programme is available to small businesses in England actively selling goods and/or services, have a turnover no greater than £45 million, own 75% or more of their business, and have 250 employees or less.
