Sunderland legislation firm expands with new recruitment

Sunderland-based environmental safety legislation firm Cedrec have appointed a new sales team to complement the company’s expansion and projected future growth.

Formed in 1994, Cedrec currently employ 16 people, and plan to boost current turnover of approximately £500k by a further £1 million in the next three years.

New business executives Harry Murray and Courtney Marsden are the latest recruits to join Cedrec, which is looking to sustain demand for the advice it provides to help private and public sector organisations understand, interpret and comply with complex legislation.

Harry brings a background in sales and customer service to the position, working at various call centres in the North East, whilst Courtney joins Cedrec as a fresh graduate from the University of Sunderland.

Both will be involved in sourcing new sales using both inbound and outbound activity.

Cedrec offers a range of consultancy and subscriptions services which companies such as Virgin Trains, Nissan and Heerema Hartlepool use to improve the quality of their safety and environmental systems.
