The Malhotra Group partners with brewing company Molson Coors
North East leisure chain The Malhotra Group has partnered with brewing company Molson Coors, as part of its plan to expand the beer ranges it offers.
The Malhotra Group, which runs pubs, restaurants and hotels across the region, is now working with Molson following years of stocking draught beers and lagers from just one brewery.
The new relationship with the brewer is part of a strategic plan to grow the offering for customers across all of the sites.
Earlier this year a number of craft beers from producers including Brooklyn Brewery and Erdinger were introduced at Osbornes bar at Osborne Road, Jesmond and The Three Mile Inn, Gosforth and reportedly proved highly successful.
And the positive reception from drinkers to the wider choice has led to the company expanding its offering still further, with draught Carling now installed at all of the Malhotra leisure sites.
Managing Director of Malhotra Leisure, Atul Malhotra, said: “We’ve been listening to what our customers have to say and to our managers at our various bars and with that in mind, have decided to expand our ranges.
“We are constantly looking at what we offer our customers and our aim is always to exceed their expectations.
“We believe this new relationship with Molson Coors will help us achieve that.”
Regional director from Molson Coors,Neil Stewart, said: “We know the Malhotra Group is one of the leading operators in the North East and that they run a number of Tyneside’s top bars.
“We are delighted to be supplying them and are sure this is the start of a long and prosperous relationship for everyone.”
