All Square brings in trio of experts to challenge banks over billions in mis-sold business loans
Leeds based Business banking product mis-selling claims specialists All Square has hired a trio of experts to support its fast-growing portfolio of cases, with the firm experiencing rapid progress during 2014.
Specialising in securing redress for businesses that have lost hundreds of thousands of pounds after they were mis-sold complex financial hedging products, All Square’s case load has risen significantly over the past three months.
“With these complex claims taking a substantial amount of time and expertise to resolve, we are expecting further growth well into 2015,” says Daniel Hall, Managing Director at All Square. “As a result we needed experienced people to support the growth in case load. Our new recruits join an established team of legal and banking industry specialists, at a time when All Square’s services are in high demand. We are making a name for ourselves in the claims market for complex financial product mis-selling cases where the stakes are high.
Amongst All Square’s recent successes were two FCA review scheme appeals, one for a Yorkshire-based company and another in the North East. The company secured a combined £445 000 in basic redress for the two companies after their claims were initially rejected. “The amount owed to these businesses is in reality much greater and we will be pursuing those banks for consequential losses as well,” adds Hall.
Solicitors Kelly Cunningham and Anna Sofia Ferreira* have been recruited from Eversheds and the International Law Partnership (previously John Howell & Co) respectively. Both have the background and experience that we need having specialised in finance and insolvency. Completing the trio is Paralegal Sophie Williams who joins from Lloyds Bank.
“We are delighted to announce the arrival of Kelly, Anna and Sophie to our team,” adds Judith Clark, All Square’s Legal Director. “They each have their own unique experience and expertise which we can draw upon to ensure we continue helping businesses claim redress for mis-sold complex financial products.”
