Orcuma shortlisted for Technology of the Year 2014
Software Specialists Orcuma Ltd are pleased to be announced as finalists in this year’s Sunderland Echo Portfolio Business Awards for Technology of the Year.
Orcuma’s FIRsT Software has gone live within a council and a local Fire Service; the technology has enabled Durham County Council Anti-Social Behaviour Service to easily manage cases effectively and efficiently.
Paul Mitchell, Director Explains: “It has enabled Anti-Social Behaviour professionals to spend more time serving the public and less time on paperwork”.
“FIRsT application is flexible and adaptable and can be quickly changed to meet any future legislation and support operational services making working life easier for FIRsT users”.
“Orcuma are very pleased to be finalists for this award, we are hoping to be crowned Technology of the Year at the ceremony”.
Orcuma’s new recruit, Andrea Mason has also been shortlisted for a category; Trainee/Apprentice of the Year. Andrea joined the team in April as Sales and Marketing Coordinator to deliver the company’s marketing strategy and increase the company’s client base.
Andrea Mason Said: “Since joining Orcuma 6 months ago I have been able to create and implement a marketing strategy with the help of Director Paul Mitchell”.
“I have enjoyed learning about the IT sector which I knew little about when I started. I am extremely pleased to find out I was shortlisted for Trainee/Apprentice of the Year”.
The awards are held on 9th October and Orcuma are hoping to be crowned winners in both categories.
