Rossett video firm records success with international clients
A Rossett-based video production company has set its sights on more international contracts after a globe-trotting 18 months.
National award-winning Knew Productions has produced videos for businesses based in countries such as the US, Poland and Italy, with many films also provided in multiple languages.
The agency has also filmed in the Republic of Ireland and worked with the French offices of a multinational to provide foreign language versions of a corporate video.
In one instance, Knew Productions was selected by Boston-based marketing agency, Tyndall Design, following an extensive search across the UK on behalf of its California-headquartered client.
Tyndall Design commissioned two manufacturing process videos in languages including Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
Richard Knew, managing director of Knew Productions, said: “This contract shows that these days there are no limits as to where your customer can be based.
“The client wanted a video to showcase the stringent safety and quality control procedures it applies to maintain the sterile environment at its factory.
“I’m pleased that our work has been very well received back in the US.
“Our ability to produce the video in a number of languages was key, as its clients are located worldwide.”
The multinational required a video production company to conduct filming at its site in the UK.
Tyndall Design’s managing director, Matt Tyndall, said: “Working with Knew Productions was seamless from start to finish.
“A concern going into the project was whether time differences would limit opportunities to discuss the project, and the long distance involved would affect the delivery of the video on time and on budget.
“But Richard and his team quickly allayed any worries. They were available for phone calls outside of their office hours. Their excellent technical set-up also meant that we could see editing progress as often and as quickly as we wanted, via the internet.
“They produced a magnificent video and did a great job of translating it properly into multiple languages.”
Richard has seen an increase in the number of manufacturers commissioning videos as tools to win and retain clients.
He added: “In the last few years, more and more firms have been using videos to show clients their manufacturing process. It provides bullet-proof evidence to their clients that no shortcuts are taken and that safety and quality are at the forefront of everything they do.”
Knew Productions was established in 1997 and has worked with companies and organisations such as Visit Wales, Sharp, The Royal Engineers, and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
Its services range from corporate videos for websites, conferences and training DVDs to pop videos and TV adverts.
