Rotisserie restaurant set to open new Leeds city centre bar creating 10 jobs
Rotisserie chicken restaurant Bird and Beast has invested in a new bar in Leeds city centre, creating 10 new jobs, and has also announced plans to expand into Manchester.
Bird and Beast focuses on using locally sourced chicken. Located on Central Road close to Mrs Atha’s coffee shop, and the ‘Bird and Beats’ lounge bar will open on Thursday 16 October from 6.30pm.
The new bar has booths and wood panelling and will serve up to 60 guests. Bird and Beats will be separate from the main dining room but will be accessed from the restaurant’s entrance on Central Road.
DJ’s will be on hand to play a soulful mix of background music including soul, house, hip hop and funk every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The company opened its very first restaurant in Leeds this June and recently revealed plans to expand its operation by opening its second restaurant and lounge bar in Manchester City Centre early next year.
Jonathan Parkinson ‘Bird and Beats’ co-director commented: “Our new restaurant has been incredibly well received by diners in the city so we’re naturally excited to see their reaction to the new bar.”
“We’ll be serving up delicious, classic drinks recipes with a modern twist without a frustrating wait and we hope this refreshingly simple approach will go down well with our customers.”
Bird and Beats will open Tuesday 6pm-12pm, Wednesday 6pm-1am, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6pm-2.30am. Closed Sunday and Monday.
