Startup and SME support firm renews sponsorship of Hull KR rugby league team
ClearSky Business, which provides advice and support to start-ups and small businesses, has renewed its sponsorship of rugby league side Hull KR.
The agreement means Warrington-based ClearSky Business will be the Robins’ principal sponsor for the forthcoming 2015 season, following what both parties describe as a “successful partnership” last year.
ClearSky’s logo will again be on Hull KR’s home and away shirts. The company will also benefit from extensive advertising space at the club’s Craven Park stadium, plus other commercial support.
ClearSky Business managing director Derek Kelly said: “We are proud to be teaming up with Hull KR for a second season. The club is ambitious and has big plans for the future – making it a natural fit with our company.
“This is a very exciting time for Hull’s business scene, with the City of Culture year fast approaching and the Enterprise Hub Training Centre at Craven Park really taking off. It’s great to be part of the buzz.
“Hopefully we will be able to do our bit by enabling the city’s entrepreneurs to get on and grow their businesses.”
Operating nationwide, ClearSky Business offers support with the time-consuming and laborious aspects of running a small company, such as accountancy, book-keeping, tax, payroll and staff management.
Hull KR’s commercial manager, Bobby Bahadori, said ClearSky’s level of involvement had impressed everybody connected to the club this year, and he is delighted to have them on board for 2015.
He added: “Our partnership with ClearSky over the past 12 months has been much more than that of a club and its main sponsor, and we can’t thank them enough for their support.
“It is our aim now to help give a little back to everybody at ClearSky for all they have done this year and it is our hope that fans become more aware of the services they offer.
“We’re thrilled that we will be working alongside them once again in 2015 and we look forward to what will hopefully be a successful season on and off the field.”
