High-tech boost for business

A state-of-the-art boardroom service offering companies access to the latest high-tech communication systems has been launched at a Teesside business park.

The new facility is part of The Wynyard Rooms - Wynyard Park’s exclusive suite of function and conference rooms - and is available for hire.

Sarah Hargin, Conference and Events Manager at The Wynyard Rooms, said: “We are constantly looking for innovative ways of improving the facilities on offer to our clients and we are confident that the new boardroom will prove very popular.

“It means that companies are able to benefit from the latest high-tech communication systems without having to go to the considerable expense of installing them in their own premises.”

The boardroom which seats up to six people, has multi-point HD video conferencing facilities which allow more than two locations to participate in a video conference from anywhere in the world, an HD audio conference phone and a 55-inch smart screen display with Wi-Fi. Content on a laptop can be displayed and shared as part of a video conference. There is also a range of HDMI, VGB and USB desktop connections.

The boardroom can be hired for £50 per half day or £100 for a full day and the use of video conferencing facilities comes at an additional cost of £50 per 30 minutes. Prices are negotiable for block bookings.

It is hoped that Wynyard Park’s 70 resident companies will take advantage of the new service, but it is also available for use by other businesses from the surrounding area.
