Last remaining tickets for the Dragonfly Ball 2014

Children’s cancer charity, Josie’s Dragonfly Trust, will be holding their fourth annual Dragonfly Ball at the Discovery Museum on Saturday 8th November.

The last few tables are remaining for this unqiue event and we would be delighted to have your support!

Most people are unaware of the absolutely stunning Great Hall on the top floor of the 19th century building in Blanford Square, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Josie’s Dragonfly Trust will be taking over the museum and the Great Hall to put on a spectacular evening of entertainment to raise funds to brighten the lives of children and young people with cancer.

The one-of-a-kind event is set to be a memorable evening with a champagne reception, top-class three course meal and plenty of chances to win some fantastic prizes including a diamond ring, Barbour jacket, P&O mini cruise and many many more.

The main entertainment will be provided by some extremely talented musicians from the Paul Skerritt Band who will be filling the Great Hall with jazz and swing covers of contemporary classics bound to get everyone on their feet by the end of the night.

Faye Tozer, member of pop group “Steps” and recent star of the “Singin’ in the Rain” musical will also be joining Josie’s Dragonfly Trust as a guest on the night. Faye has been a Patron of Josie’s Dragonfly Trust since 2011 and supports the Trust in whatever way she can amid her theatre and media commitments.

Faye said “I’m delighted to be attending this year’s Dragonfly Ball. Last year was a fabulous event with outstanding entertainment. It was heart-warming and a real night to remember…As Patron of Josie’s Dragonfly trust I am looking forward to celebrating the success of this year’s fundraising events at the Dragonfly Ball. I am always blown away by the creativity and drive that keeps Josie’s legacy moving forward.“

The Dragonfly Ball raises vital funds for children’s cancer charity, Josie’s Dragonfly Trust. The charity provide last minute requests for children and young adults whose cancer cannot be cured. They organise “Dragonfly Dreams“ and grant Cash Gifts to young patients offering a moment of happiness and a chance to create special memories with family and friends.
