Triple award nomination for North East property business

Sales and lettings business KIS – officially the North East’s best letting agent - are celebrating a hat-trick of award nominations.

The South Shields-based firm will defend their Letting Agent of the Year crown at the national Landlord and Letting Awards at this year’s ceremony in Warwickshire next month.

The firm have also been nominated in this year’s Innovation Award category.

The company have also been nominated for the Innovation and Technology Award at next week’s South Tyneside business awards. Winning this category could see KIS named South Tyneside Business of the Year.

KIS manage properties for landlords in every corner of the North East from branches across Tyne and Wear, and expanded into residential sales in 2014.

The firm are famous for being the first letting agents in the UK to abolish deposits, replacing them with a one-of-a-kind landlord insurance policy offering guaranteed rent, deposit replacement, legal assistance and round the clock third party emergency home repairs.

Judges commended KIS for its one-of-a-kind online portfolio management software, which gives landlords immediate access to all information regarding their properties - including viewings, account balances, maintenance work and inventories - at the touch of a button, around the clock.

The nominations round off a spectacularly successful year for KIS, which has seen turnover exceed £1,000,000 for the first time and the firm take on three new members of staff. The company has also been featured on Sky News, BBC National News, BBC World News and Channel 4.
